We are located in the charming Yorkshire village of Hardraw. The Green Dragon Inn stands in a stunning location overlooking Upper Wensleydale. Situated beneath the rising fells of Great Shunner Fell, not far from the town of Hawes.
Behind the Green Dragon Inn is Hardraw Force, the highest single drop waterfall in England, used in the 1991 Kevin Costner Film, “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves”
This ancient traditional Dales Inn, dating from 13th century, with flagged floors, open fires, beamed ceilings, and stone walls is a privately owned free house. We sell a range of drinks including locally brewed real ale and gin, along with traditional pub food. There is also accommodation available for the weary traveller.
The Inn has been lovingly restored ensuring it’s original features along with contemporary fittings.
Free car parking & beer garden at the rear of the pub.
Well behaved dogs are welcome in the main bar and can stay in a selection of our bedrooms and apartments.
All our rooms have been completely refurbished.
